ハバナの旧市街地にある工場の屋上に地域住民のための憩いの場を提案。夜は映画を上映できる装置も備え付けられている。この憩いの場は、この旧市街地に特徴的なストリートライフ（おしゃべり、遊び、読書、日向ぼっこ、路上観察、商い）を脅かす観光業から保護することを目的としている。ストリートとこの憩いの場をつなぐ遊歩道の機能を持つファサードも提案。構造躯体には木の廃材をラミネートして作った角材を、屋根には捨てられるサトウキビの繊維を使用。どちらも経済性、軽量性、地域性を考量して選んだ。この建築物はこの地域には少ない展望台にもなっていて、自分達の日々の生活を高いところから観察することも可能になる。

A open space for local people on top of the roof of a factory in Havana old district is proposed. A projector and a screen are installed so that films are showed at night. This open space aims to protect from spectacle tourism the street activities which is rich in the district, such as chat, play, reading, basking in the sun, observation, trade and so on. The facade is proposed , which has a function as pathway from a street to the open space. The laminated timbers are used for the structure and the fibers of dumped sugar canes are used for the roof. These materials are chosen considering cost, lightness and availability. This structure is also an observatory which is rare in the area. Therefore, it is possible for the locals to view their own daily life from a broader point of view.
