ロンドンのBattersea地区にあるセメント堆積場の敷地内に、遊び場と川岸につながる遊歩道を提案。作業オペレーションと遊びが敷地をタイムシェアする。作業オペレーションの目的、ルート、頻度、作業時間などのパターンを分析し配置を再構成することで、それぞれの作業オペレーションの間に生じる「完全に使用されない空間」と「時間帯によって使用されない空間」のデザインをした。その「完全に使用されない空間」に三通りに形態が変形するオブジェクトを設置。オブジェクトの変形がガイドとなって「時間帯によって使用されない空間」が遊び場として利用可能になり、遊歩道が川岸へとつながる。

In a concrete aggregate yard of Battersea area, London, playgrounds and a pathway to the river are proposed. Operations and plays share the yard depending on the time zone. “Space that is not used” and “space that is not used depending on the time zone” are designed in the yard by analyzing and rearranging the pattern of each operation in terms of purpose, route, frequency and duration.In the “space that is not used”, objects that have three patterns of form are installed. As a result that the forms of the objects works as guides, the “space that is not used depending on the time zone” is available for playgrounds. And a pathway to the river is generated.
